My Name Is Tenzin, I Am Not Chinese, an exile Tibetan lad’s college memoirs in India,  is a first person narrative of Tenzin Phuntsok’s experiences as a college student in Chennai.

The summary of the book posted on publisher’s website says, “Written in an easy conversational style, the story is rich with humor that cloaks the poignancy of an uprooted youth’s life in a place which is poles apart from his Himalayan homeland. The book also provides a well-researched insight into the academic opportunities in Chennai.”

The book was published by Notionpress.com and has been released online in various online stores including the publisher itself on 24th June, 2016. The book is priced at Rs 320 (Indian Rs)

“However, the book is yet to hit any physical stores in India and also, I am planning to launch book here in Dharamsala. Since it is a self-publishing house it takes time to hit the physical stores,” Tenzin Phuntsok clarifies  to Dancingyaks.com

He uses the pen name Pam D. Tenzin and this is his debut book.  He works and lives in Dharamsala.
