12 min long film FOREIGN LAND highlights the heartbreaking and helpless situation many Tibetans (without documents) abroad go through: unable to go and see old parents in India.
Viewers have lauded Sonam Tsering of Pun Anu Thanu fame, playing the role of the son, for his “BRILLIANT” acting, delivering the emotional performance.
Going by the many positive comments, the film seems to have connected and touched the Tibetan audience.
Director of the film Kelsang Tsering Khangsar is not new in Tibetan filmmaking scene. He made his first film Khyi Ani about 20 years ago followed by couple of other short films. Check out his YouTube channel.
