Sakina Bhatt raised much curiosity ever since she appeared about a year ago as the English newsreader on Tibet TV, the online TV of Central Tibetan Administration (CTA)
Couple of Tibetan Muslim men worked at CTA in the past but never a Tibetan Muslim woman.
In this interview with Voice of Tibet, Sakina shares her story, how she ended up at CTA and the experience of working there.
As the Tibetan Muslims have always been applauded for preserving the Tibetan language, this interview gives a flavor of how they speak the Tibetan language and how they manage to do so.
Enjoy the interview.
And if you were in cave and never saw her reading news at Tibet TV, check out the Video below.
