Although number of Tibetan musicians and filmmakers have been on a rise, finding a Tibetan Sound Engineer is a rarity. Tsewang Tharchen from India aims to fill this gap.

“Studying sound was my dream and I always believed that I can contribute something to my Tibetan Community through it. I have sacrificed almost everything and strived hard to study Sound Engineering” writes Tsewang Tharchin on the website of Empowering The Vision, which partly funded his training. 

Having trained in Sound Engineering and Music Production, and interned with experienced sound professionals, he feels confident and looking forward to contribute to the Tibetan society with his expertise in sound.
