Sonam Topden’s new Music video starring Sangnyi is becoming a huge HIT
In less than a week, the music video Palkyi la has got over 24,000 views so far, which is big in the small Tibetan community in exile, where most Tibetan music videos barely manage to reach 10K views in a week.
Viewers are all praises for the internet singing sensation Sonam Topden for the video, which they think is: WOW, Great voice, Flawless, Soothing, Touching, Goosebumps and so on.
Tenzin Sangnyi, Miss Tibet 2016, is appreciated for her acting debut. One comment on the video says, “Miss Tibet Sangnyi is as beautiful as your (Sonam Topden) flawless voice.”
One of the main reasons for this video becoming a hit is the quality of the work. Viewers including singers LoTsetan and Pemsi are applauding Taklha, the Director of the music video which they think is, “Beautifully made, worth watching, and amazing!”
Unlike many Tibetan music videos, this one having English subtitle has helped it cross over to non-Tibetan audience as well, with so many Nepalese fans of Sonam Topden loving it too.
However, some folks are disappointed with the music which is not original but an OST from a Korean TV drama, Heartstrings.
