Miss Tibet Organizer Lobsang Wangyal gets Indian Passport

Lobsang Wangyal, Dharmasla-based photo journalist and the man behind the Miss Tibet beauty pageant finally gets his Indian passport after fighting two legal battles in Delhi High Court.

According to Indian law, anybody born in India between the years 1950 and 1987 are citizens of India. Based on this law, Lobsang filed the first case in May, 2016.

He announced the news and explained the whole story through a press conference in Dharamsala 16 March 2017. Read the full story here.
