Nepal-based Tibetan singer Sonam Topden makes acting debut in Nepali cinema. The love story, Samhalinchca Kahile Mann, has Aakash Shrestha, Pooja Sharma and Sonam in the lead roles.

The shooting was done in UK and Nepal in 2019. But the release date hasn’t been announced yet.

Sonam has also made singing debut in Nepali film, Mo Yesto Geet Gauchhu 2, planned for 2020 release. The song Timro Gharko Woripari released on Youtube five months ago has garnered 14 million plus views.

Sonam Topden rose to fame instantly through his cover songs on Youtube just five years ago.  As he sings in many languages: Tibetan, Nepali, Bhutanese, Hindi and English; his popularity crosses borders and nationalities. Getting invited for many concerts home and abroad, this popular singer has 340K subscribers in his Youtube channel comprising songs with million views.
