Intensive training for three months  helped us win: Mungod FC, winner of GCM 2015

 

In this video feature by Voice of Tibet, journalist Tenzin Norsang interviews Kalsang Dhondup, Secretary of the Tibetan National Sports Association, and Tashi Phuntsok, manager of the Mungod FC, winner of GCM 2015. They discuss  budget, challenges and various other aspects of GCM 2015.  Karma Tsewang, the Indian I League player, who played for Kerala FC in GCM 2015, offers his suggestions to improve GCM and football in the Tibetan community.

Gyalyum Chemo Memorial Gold Cup (GCM), established in 1981, is the most coveted annual football tournament of the Tibetan community in exile. This year’s GCM  was held from 31st May- 10th June in Dharamsala.
