Melong band’s Jampa releases a new solo track

A couple of years ago, Boston-based Jampa Choephel released Drangso la, a solo acoustic single.

Recently, he released a new version of it, Drangso la (Version4,) on soundcloud. Check this out!

Melong, a popular Tibetan rock band in the US, has not been seen performing over the last couple of years. “The band is still very much together. Its just that we are not performing for sometime,”  says Jampa, the bassist of Melong band.

In the meantime, Jampa has been doing some solo work: about 19 tracks to his credit, such as the original version of Drangso la, Dharamsala, Yitrok Lhamo, dance number Samkyi Dolma and a cover of Rinzin Wangmo. You can listen to all his tracks at Soundcloud.
