Choeyang Kyi aka Qieyang Shijie, one of the two Tibetans in Chinese Contingent at Rio Olympics, finished fifth in Women’s 20 Km Race Walk final on 19th August.
This nomad girl from Amdo won silver medal in the same event at London Olympics 2012. The victory was hailed as historic for she became the first Tibetan ever to win medal at Olympics.
