New York-based Tenzin Wangmo Shakya works as producer at Good Morning America, a TV show aired on ABC Network.

She recently received the Daytime Emmy Awards for 2016-2017. The Columbia University Journalism Graduate is hailed as the first Tibetan ever to win this prestigious TV award.
